As the developing of numerical control technology and equipment industry automation, various control systems that aims at the digital equipment also have got a quick development. Nonstandard controller in common use to the digital equipment in this paper use the form of PC+Motion control card, this form also can easily achieve an open CNC system. The host computer use Advantech PCM-3370E CPU board, it can finish some calculation and control task which don't need too high real-time. The lower computer composes by built-in PLC card and motion control card made of PCL6045B, it can finish some task which need high real-time , like servo update, real-time input and output of exterior signal.This paper choose embedded operating system-Windows CE, which has good real-time. Using Platform Builder customize a Windows CE operating system we need. First Low-level driver is designed by EVC based on this operating system which can drive the entire hardware system. Then according to people's operate habit, Human-Machine interface is designed. After that program module and the subprogram of motion control is designed. Now the whole software system is finished. The last step is testing the whole software system. After function test , reliability test and some other test, the result indicates it can satisfy the design requirements. The control system can put into practical application.In the end, this paper summarise some experience during the research, put forward some specific requirements about future research, and give further expectation.
