Along with the gradual improvement of Digital Campus building and development, various applications based on campus network emerge in endlessly. The shortcomings of each of application system with independent authentication gradually apparent, so campus network is difficult to be centralized management, the access of the users is not convenient and secure exists enormous hidden danger. Authentication is the first strategic and important step for logging in the security system. When the user access to multiple systems, the user should authorizes to each system to gain all authentication and functions before the next step of the access and control. Single sign-on(SSO), centralize and manage a great deal of different ID authentications and sign-on systems, is a system, which realize users only need to carry out an identity authentication initiatively in the network, and then will be able to access all of its authorized network resources without need to participate in any other identity certification process.On the basis of analysis of advantages and shortcomings of applied Single sign-on system models that are popular in domestic and foreign, this article introduces a kind of Single sing-on system model that is more appropriate to Digital Campus. This SSO model integrated by SSO authentication platform, LDAP database and Web Services engine. SSO authentication platform, which combines acegi with CAS to achieve single sign-on,authentication and authorization. In the digital campus single sign-on system, authentication and authorization all work on the CAS of SSO authentication platform, so each application system that reduces the cost of maintenance and management, improve the security and expansibility, reduce the difficulty of development. Unifying Spring to Xfire to develope Web Services, each level of these system is independent, this already guaranteed system's loose calamity gathers and causes application system's integration and expands the new application system to be easier. With the gradual improvement of the single sign-on technology, single sign-on will play a more important role in the digital campus.
