The Study On The Expansion Of The Functions Of The Information Services Of The Universities Library For The Regional Development

At present, the way of relying on regional development to achieve overall national development has become a universally used model of development. In the process of regional development and urban construction,how universities library to deal with regional development integration requirements? In this paper, as a example of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan regional development, discusses the universities library in the new circumstance of regional development, how to convert information service functions for the regional development of knowledge and information protection.In this article, the regional development needs of the universities library information services are discussed. In combination with the actual situation of integration process of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, the status and lacks of the public information services in CZT regions are analyzed, requirement of the innovation units and regional development to academic library information services. The advantages of supply and supply patterns of information services in universities library to innovative enterprise are described out. The universities library can cooperated with regional public libraries or alliance patterns or completely open to the community to service the local development. Finally, the strategies of function conversion of the universities library are analyzed. Information services objected to regional development are pointed out. To enhance the knowledge and information services, the universities library must be constructed in management system, resources, network services, and personnel and other aspects on the bases of some requirement and followed some principles.Based on realities of the innovation units of regional development and universities library serving to local economic, the paper provide reference for the universities library to serve to regional development, help guide the work of library information services, and expand universities library services, in order to achieve sustainable development of library, to meet the needs of rapidly development in regional economic, cultural, technology and education.
