Recent years, with the increase in the number of college students, laboratory equipment have increased, the traditional laboratory management way causes the problem of low utilization of laboratory equipment to be more and more prominent. In the past, the schedule of experiments was arranged by the university. And the students only do experiments with one class as a unit. It limited the time of students. The utilization of the experimental equipment was low. The administrator needed lots of time to arrange the schedule. Both administrators and students want to use a more convenient way to solve this problem, thereby enhancing the utilization of laboratory. Therefore, it is necessary to use an opening and unattended management for the laboratory.Based on B/S model, using C#as programming language and MS SQL Server as the back-ground database, the system is developed. The system established an effective communication channel of experimental information among students, teachers and administrators. By the system, if there have teachers and administrators, students can experiment with a class as a unit in accordance with the normal schedule. If there have idle experiments, other students could use them with reserving experiments. In the case of unattended, the student who reserved has the authorization to pass the access control system on time, realizing an opening management of laboratory. With a low error rate, the system is efficient and runs fast. Through the test, the system can meet the needs of every user, reduce the pressure of administrator, save a lot of time for students and teachers, and improve the utilization of laboratory equipment.From the view of the design and implementation, the thesis describes the process of the design of the whole architecture and the module. The thesis introduces the project background and purpose of system development, and then gives the structure of the thesis. In the part of system analysis, the thesis introduces the specific features of the system, related technologies and the system development environment, and then gives the system data flow diagram. In the part of design, the thesis introduces the overall design of the system, describes the design of every module in detail and introduces the design of database. In the part of implementation, the thesis introduces the implementation of users’functions, implementation of each module and the key technologies. In the part of test, it introduces the test of logging in function, the test of reservation function and the test of interface and so on. Then it gives the conclusion of the test. Finally, it summarizes the whole work, and looks for the next step of work.
