| As the broadband value chain and broadband business operation mode is gradual established, the broadband business is becoming an focus that all operators expand business field, increase the income, strengthening the competitive.Experts predicted the future of the entire network traffic data for three years will exceed voice traffic, business volume could reach several times, IP business will be dominant.The way of traditional MAN solution is mainly SDH or LAN,both of them have obvious strengths and weaknesses.Resilient Packet Ring (RPR), which integrates the intelligence of IP, the economy of Ethernet and the high efficiency and reliability of optical ring network provides a good network schemes for operator. The technology of RPR makes operators provide service of telecommunication level in the low cost which has SDH network reliability and reduces fees for transport. Different from traditional MAC, the most attractive feature of RPR is the reliability of telecommunication level, which not only confined to process data-oriented business needs for transmitting, also can provided the solutions of processing multi-task of comprehensive transport.It can be said, RPR is the combination of IP technology and optical network technology, which from the needs that customers for IP business development with the latest technology for IP networks, and provide the solutions of low cost and high quality for the construction of WAN.According to the requirements from subject, I will construction from four aspects using the RPR technology:data networks, voice networks, call center, video monitoring center. The paper focuses on analyzing in detail the technology of using RPR build information networks, and probing into how to use the RPR to build a self-healing, expanding and monitoring data networks, and I have advanced the concrete implementing scheme which has been obtained recognition to realize the three functions: voice, call and video. |
