The Design And Implementation Of Physics Virtual Laboratory

Virtual lab resolves the problems that the traditional physics experiments are normally restricted by time, place and equipment etc. Virtual lab can provide the participants chance to do their experiment by independently. Virtual lab system not only involves modern information technology and traditional experiment teaching method together, but also expands the domain of traditional and regular experiment. This paper mainly studies the design and realization of the physics experiment course of virtual lab which is basic on web.This paper reviewed the research achievements of virtual simulation and virtual lab, compared the versatile and popular virtual experimental technologies, and discussed the features of physics experiment and the base requirement of network education. Considering the technology feasibility, system capability and economy, the author proposed a novel scheme to realize the virtual physics lab system that uses the flash+php+mysql to construct all the experiments virtually, remotely efficiently, economically and easily. As described, the realization procedure of the system includes how to achieve the main function of this virtual lab, for example, the action script used in flash, validation of the connection of equipment, database design and connection with flash, and so on.By working of bring the above idea in to reality, the author manually painted all the vector figures of the whole instruments to be used in the experimental system. The characteristics of modularization and componentization of these figures endows the system with specialties of easily combination, suitable running in network condition, etc.Through this simulation laboratory, students can simple, fast, cheap and efficient participate in the Computer Network experimental curriculum, exempting from time, place, as well as laboratory equipment constraints. The system will promote the use and value. The design idea and methods by this paper, is also a meaningful attempt in this area of the research virtual laboratory system.
