With the rapid development of computer technology, nowadays digital media technology, network technology and e-commerce have become the hot spots of computer technology. This paper analyzes the recent study and related technologies about the virtual technologies and virtual fitting studies at home and abroad. For the characteristics of modern clothing e-commerce systems, it also studies and achieves the online virtual three-dimensional fitting system based on the Papervision3D engine, which comparatively well meet the demand of virtual fitting in e-commerce or real shopping and leads to the model of virtual fitting. Depending on the virtual fitting system, Sellers can manage the virtual model and styles of clothes for sale through the background operation of virtual fitting; while customers can do the virtual fitting through the e-commerce website, and obtain more realistic effects of clothing fitting with the simple operations, such as rotating, zooming or location adjustment of virtual objects, which can catch up with the fast pace of modern life and meet the need of high efficiency.This system is used by B/S structure model. Furthermore, Macromedia Flash CS4 and Microsoft Visual Studio.net 2008 are used as the development tools, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is used to manage the database, Papervision3D engine and Action Script 3.0 are used to demonstrate and deal with the Three-dimensional images, and Flash is used to achieve the three-dimensional fitting module and the communication between Flash and the database system. Integrated application of technologies enables the system to become a good versatility, maintainability and portability, and provides a platform for management, sales and demonstration to the fashion e-commerce system.This system can be both serviced as the clothing sales system and used as a free-running model which can work on the mobile platforms supporting the flash movies. It has great research values and a good prospect.
