Design And Realization Of The Real-Time Database Interface Based On OPC

As industry control fields are developing at high speed, and application which are strict in needs of time are demanded, traditional Database hasn't been fit for the need of the special field, and Real-Rime Database (RTDB) come into being. The technology of RTDB is not a simple combination of traditional database system and real time system, and it not only need database to support the sharing of large data, and maintain accordance and completeness of the data, but also need real-time operating to support its transaction and data's timer bound. OPC bases on the OLE/COM/DCOM technology and is defined as an open interface standard, and it resolves the hardware upgrade, hardware and software compatibility and interconnection of heterogeneous systems.This article respectively describes the development and applications of the OPC technology and Real-Time Database technology, and it mainly describes the OPC specification, OPC interface technology and OPC core technology-COM/COM+, Real-Time Database features and concurrency control. By combining Real-Time Database technology with the OPC interface technology, and analyzing the functions, features and application environments of the Real-Time Database, this article designs applied model and architecture of Real-Time Database, and concretely designs the software structure, and proposes core structure based on Microkernel of the Real-Time Database。The article introduces the design and realization of the OPC interface in detail. In order to communicate with a variety of on-site equipment, and supplies services to local and remote clients, and allow Real-Time Database to meet the needs of the system requirements, the OPC Server and the OPC client must be designed and realized in the RTDB software system. This paper analyzes the OPC server structure and basic functions, and concretely introduces the interface which is needed to be realized, and introduces the realization of the OPC server and OPC client in detail. Lastly, this article tests the OPC server and OPC client with emulation simulator.The OPC technology and Real-Time database technology will provide good production data management platform, which is becoming more widespread in application, and get the support of various manufacturers and has broad prospects for development.
