With the coming of the information time, enterprise and individual information data types and quantity is rapid expansion, facing the large scale, type multifarious data, and these data sharing for the purpose, having features of mass, heterogeneous, distribution. Users have big challenge with comprehensive application data.Data resource gathering is an effective way with this data management platform challenge. Data gathering technology refers to various data by extraction, Abstract data as a entity for unity express in the gathering data platform. Around these entities, provide a series of upper service, including directory, retrieval, query, various types of operation, the management and use. And through the dynamic adding heterogeneous data to reach the purpose of resources gather. According to the domestic and foreign research situation of information integration technology, combining XBUS project platform, for constructing data resource gathering platform, this thesis has made research in relational database resource gathering problems.This paper analyzes the existing information integration technology research achievements, to realize XBUS resource gathering platform for foundation, make a detailed research for relational database data extraction, data to relational database and data access in the process of constructing resource gathering platform. In this paper the extraction of relations among the XML document information databases of formal definition as a RTX, And made mapping rules for a relational database mode and a relational database data to customize the XML document formats, the data and the model are designed respectively conversion algorithm。Also puts forward a data access interface for all kinds of resource gathering in the standardization of heterogeneous data platform, to all sorts of constitutive unity flow of data to visit. At last, through the experiments show, the method can efficiently finish heterogeneous relational database data extraction, and ensure the physical integrity, reference integrity of the extracted relational database.
