Career management as an important part of modern human resources management,plays an important role in the process of personal and organizational development, Onthe one hand, career management can maintain the stability and the enthusiasm ofemployees, encourage employees to constantly improve the business skills, and create ahigher economic efficiency; On the other hand, it can maintain personnel’s knowledge,values and business skills, and enhance vitality and competitiveness of the organization.At present, the theory of career management in the application of enterprisemanagement, civil servants, teachers, has obtained certain achievements, However, thecareer management theory in the management of our military has never been applicated,although the army career management concepts such as gradually attracted attention inrecent years, for our army now is at the early stage of research on career management,the deficiencies still exist in many ways. We should explore the army careermanagement, and build a career management system.It is advantageous to the armyrevolutionization, modernization and the development of informationization, andconducive to the stability of the army, to improve the fighting capacity, to maintain corecompetitiveness.Based on the "army career management research in China PLA, there are fivechapters to introduce. The first chapter is the introduction part, including the selectedtopic background, literature review, research purpose and meaning, research contents,research methods. In the part of literature review, it mainly includes the domestic andforeign research on career management theory and army career management research,the research methods mainly includes the literature method and comparison method.The second chapter is the theory research part, the paper introduces the concepts ofcareer management, the development of the military career management, thecharacteristics of the military career management and career management principles;The third chapter is present situation and problems of China PLA career management,analyzed from the source of officers and soldiers in rank and post classification,selection system and exit system, and summarized four problems of China PLA careermanagement: lack of military career management consciousness, lack of professionalmilitary career management personnel, lack of corresponding supporting military careermanagement theory, the lack of perfect military career management system. the fourthchapter is foreign military career management experience, summarized from foreignprofessional course, foreign military retirement system, foreign job rotation system andforeign vocational training system; The fifth chapter is the countermeasure of promotingChina PLA career management, mainly including promoting the professionalizationprocess of China PLA, setting up our army officer career management concept,strengthening the management of our army officer career design, and improving the mechanism of China PLA career management. The last part is the conclusion,summarized the research on this paper, and pointed out the existing shortcomings in thispaper.
