Explaining The Report Of China 's Excessive Rights Protection By Frame Theory

The theme of ultra safeguard rights events become rich,medias will reportactively when ultra safeguard rights events are happening,and these news can easilycall audience’s attention.Such news appear frequently will take what kind of impacton the audience?Will they lead the audience to imitate?In order to investigate thepossibility of these news lead the audience to imitate in China, the paper use “Threelayer frame theory” Of Zang as a basis to research the news samples and try to findanswers.In this paper, our research is divided into four parts.The first part is alongitudinal study,take People Daily online as the object of the research,use the upperframe,middle frame and lower frame to analysis the news of recent threeyears.Overall the news are objective and impartial,but sometimes have sensationaldepiction and dogmatic essay,these may affect the effect of expression of news.Thesecond part is a cross-sectional study which aim at “The event of Cao”,collect allexisting news of “The event of Cao” and use three layer frame theory to analysis,andmake narrative style as a important part to study.Find out that there is a same problemwith longitudinal study’s result, which is over-exaggerated tragic.The third part of this paper is summarizes the factors that may lead the audienceto imitate first,and then contrast the result of longitudinal study and cross-sectionalstudy,It shows that the possibility of news lead the audience to imitate is low,but theapplication of pictures and issue frame have a necessary to improve.The fourth part has summarized shortages of the news,and give somerecommendations for improvement.Although the news may not easy to lead theaudience to imitate,over-exaggerated tragic is adverse to guidance of publicopinion.The tendency of underestimate journalism supervision of the public opinion isalso not conducive to lead the audience towards the deep fact.Indeed,there have someobjective reasons such as economic forces and political forces are interference thenews.But more important is subjective reasons——medias pay more attention toprofit,but make light of social responsibility.Therefore,to improve our ultra safeguardrights news,not only rely to improve relevant laws and regulations,which can providea more healthy environment for media,but also the media itself should establish andstrengthen their sense of social responsibility from the value stratification,to furtherenhance authenticity,objectivity and impartiality of the news.
