Research On Events Volunteers’ News Reports In Chongqing

Events volunteers are the main body,who uphold the spirit of voluntary service,and promote the vigorous development of voluntary service.They are also the main force of events,helping reduce economic pressure for government,and improve the overall economic benefits.In addition,they are the carrier for college students to practice the spirit of voluntary service and an important link in the ideological and political education of college student.The media plays a key role in the development of volunteer service activities,maintaining behavioral norms in the society and conveying mainstream value systems.As a kind of “explanatory schema” for the public to understand others,society and the world,News report is an important way to cultivate people’s spiritual motivation and guide more people to join in the volunteering,being a part of the volunteer team.At the same time,the construction of a good volunteer image in News reports can help to spread the image of Chongqing.In this thesis,Chongqing volunteers’ news reports are selected as the research object,and the methods of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are adopted.Based on the framework theory,this thesis takes the method of literature review and content analysis.This thesis analyzes the characteristics in the frame of the News reports from the selection of the frame in the high level,the construction of the frame in the middle level and the expression of the frame in the lower level..It comes to a conclusion that the reports closely follow the government agenda,balance the news facts and news value and exhibits the variety of news reports.Under this framework,the core of news report is to establish the image of volunteers and improve social recognition of volunteers.What’s more,the thesis points out some shortcomings in the news reports and provides some suggestions to better optimize the effect of news reports on events volunteer.
