ConfuciusInstitute is approved by the State Press and Publication Administration, directed by the Ministry of Education and Hanban. Confucius Institutewas born in March 2009.Up to now, it has been founded for seven years.Seven years for magazine is not a very long time. As a "young" magazine Confucius Institutehave developed greatly in the past seven years,and it going to develop more strongly in the next few years. Meanwhile, as the branch of the Confucius Institute,that Confucius Institutecould not be separated from Confucius Institute and which has play the positive role in the Chinese international promotion.This thesis takes the past seven years’ Chinese-English Version ConfuciusInstituteas a case, study on ConfuciusInstitute magazine. Based on the analysis on the status quo, content feature and cultural meaning of ConfuciusInstitute, this thesis also proved that the Confucius Instituteseriously attempt to promote the Confucius Institute,accelerate cultural exchangeand global cooperation. This thesis were also analyzed the special column of Confucius Institutelike the “WORLD OF ACADEMIA”, “AROUND THE WORLD”, “CULTURE”especially the threecolumnsare analyzed in details. The thesis tries to figure out the successful experiences of ConfuciusInstitute so as to provide valuable information and new thoughts for the future ConfuciusInstitute. The conclusion of this thesis can be summarized as follows: ConfuciusInstitute’s success owes to high quality of its content, its innovative spirit and its co-prosperity consciousness with Chinese international promotion. At last, analysis the potential of Confucius Institute and give some suggestions to the future of Confucius Institute.
