The Simulated Practice Report Of The Sims In The MSI Quarterly Tournament Finals

At the beginning of 2015, Riot unveiled the latest addition to the international competitive calendar of League of Legends(LOL), the Mid-Season Invitational(MSI).It featured the Spring’s winners from 6 regions(the NA LCS, EU LCS, LPL, LCK, LMS and IWCI). Chinese team EDG(Edward Gaming) won the championship. The writer selected the Game 5 of MSI finals as Simultaneous Interpreting material, aiming to research the reasons of listening and information receiving problems and solve them.The reasons includes: lacking of professional vocabulary, poor short-term memory and fast speech. Then the writer solved the problems by strengthening the language knowledge, shadowing exercise and listening and information receiving, so as to enhance the accuracy of simultaneous interpreting.
