| In recent years, the rapid development of Chinese has been the concern of people around the world, with Chinese rising international status, the scope of lea rning Chinese is also expanding, especially in Southeast Asia. Kampuchea and Ch inese although not directly on the border, but not far, had dealings with Chines e, trade. Frequent trade, boost the rapid development of Chinese education in Ka mpuchea. After the field survey found, Chinese use in Kampuchea large grou p, Chinese education institutions, a total of seventy or so, Chinese education has made some achievements, but through in-depth mining and analysis, there are stil l many factors restricting the development of Chinese education, Chinese educatio n is mainly reflected in the way of teaching, educational institutions and teacher s, promotion policies and strategies, teaching materials and education etc.This paper selects Chinese education schools and institutions in Kampuche a area of Phnom Penh for the survey, detailed investigation and analysis to the questionnaire in the form of three aspects of the area of Phnom Penh with situati on of Chinese textbooks, curriculum and teachers, some conclusions are draw n, and through in-depth study, put forward some suggestions on the developmen t of Chinese education in Phnom Penh area: one is to increase the foreign Chine se propaganda. Chinese and Kampuchea has no geopolitical contact, but foreign Ch inese more, accounting for 4.7% of the total population of the local, this is not a small data, plays an important role in the promotion of Chinese. I think we ca n help increase the influence of overseas Chinese. Chinese propaganda, and comp lemented by policy support, vigorously promote domestic Chinese teachers to the local education, strengthen efforts to popularize Chinese. The two is to strengthe n the training of foreign language teachers. In Kampuchea the current Chinese edu cation, the relative lack of teachers, seriously restricting the development of Ch inese local education. We can set up overseas Chinese education institutions, vigor ously develop the domestic and foreign outstanding Chinese teachers and Chines e promotion personnel, and assignment to Kampuchea to work in the Chinese la nguage teaching. At the same time, with the help of a bridge for Chinese foreign language volunteers overall out ward development, to further expand and promot e the development of foreign language education. The three is the importance o f outstanding Chinese textbooks on the importance of Chinese education. The de velopment of the Chinese language has a long history, rich connotation, to prom ote Chinese language education from the essence, is to develop a set of scientific,systematic, practical Chinese teaching materials, to guide local residents say Chi nese, learn Chinese, with Chinese, to further deepen the contact between the two countries.
