Bionics Applications In Dance Costumes

Dance costumes has become an essential part of the show, is the key for a perfect dance, is a direct manifestation of the audience’ first impression. The bionics applied to the design of dance costumes, bionic design in all aspects of clothing material, shape, color, etc., into the latest design concept, is the designers’ pursuit, but also is the successful performance of the bionic dance costumes. In this study, the first chapter describes the purpose and research methods. The second chapter interprets the concept of bionics and dance costumes. The third chapter describes the development process of the bionics in dance costumes design. The fourth chapter describes bionics’ specific applications in the dance costumes design.
