Purple-clay teapots are classified as smooth pots, quadrate pots, floriation pots and striae pots. Quadrate pots are fabricated by mount forming which requires different modeling techniques from other modeling of pots. Especially pot makers have to pay attention to handle of lines and surface, arranging in order and handling appropriately. It is quite difficult to fabricate quadrate pots because of this kind of special skill.
