A Study On The Story Of Folk Animals In Uygur Nationality

Folk tale is one of the most common and widely spoken oral narrative literature. The academic circles have narrow and generalized definition of folk tales. Generalized folk tales includes all oral narrative literature. The research object of tales study is narrow definition of folk tales, except myth, legend and other kind of oral narrative literature. Folk tales can be divided into several types, including universal story types, such as animal stories, magic stories and life stories.This paper mainly talked about the Uyghur folk animal stories. There are many methods of folk tales’ critical studies and the story type studies is popular in the world academy, becoming the breakthrough of folk tales artistic world. It is an effective way to reveal the folk tales’ traits from micro to macro. In the international folk tales classification code system, animal stories are listed top. So are the Chinese several types of stories.Uyghur animal stories are the created spiritual wealth by Uyghur people during their thousands of years of hunting and nomadic life, including their special experience and wisdom, “characterized” and “socialized” the animal, summarized the human social life,with the help of the animals’ characteristics, expressed the human social life vividly.This paper mainly talked about the Uyghur animal stories, using the AT classification,deeply studied types and motif of the Uyghur animal folk tales.The paper consists of three parts, namely, introduction and main body, conclusion,appendix and reference.In the introduction part presents the reason for choosing the topic, research value and general situation in home and abroad.The main body consists of four chapter.The first chapter discusses the definition,categories and characteristics of Uyghur animal stories.The chapter two analyzes the categories of Uyghur animal stories. First of all,through the analysis of historical geography method and AT classification to define the specific method of Uyghur animal stories’ type. Secondly, classifies the Uyghur animal stories and deeply analyzes several presented world, national, ethnic characteristics. The third chapter deeply analyzes the motif of Uyghur animal stories.
