This article is on the basis of the book Gongsunlongzi left by Gongsun Long. The author analyzes the Gongsun Long’s ideological background. According to the study of the book to analyze Gongsun Long’s logical thought and understand the way he used the method of logic.It is hard to evaluation impersonality for the logic value of Gongsun Long’s thinking. This article reconsider the matter from a different angle. By showing Gongsun Long’s logical thought achievement, reflect the contribution for the development of Chinese ancient logic. Through the research of the shortcomings and limitations in his theory, to explore the reasons why Gongsun Long into the trap of sophistry and the lessons to the later generations.
