The forefathers of the Manchu have created a lots of excellent myths, which are meaningful for the culture of the Manchu. In this paper, the limits of Manchu myths are defined and selected in the narrow sense. According to the new defined limits, certain Manchu myths were selected, such as “wecheku ulben”, and “umesiben mama”, etc. They were the sources to select the representative gods in the Manchu myths, in order to build the Manito system.The final Manito system is consist of “The three Goddesses”, “The three hundred goddesses”, “functional God”, “God of evil”, “Range of God”, “God of animal”, “God of nature”, the other historical gods and the god among men in the Manchu myths. After deeply analyzing and studying the Manito system, the characterization, function and meaning of this system are discussed and exploited.At the end, the protection and development to the Manchu myths, language and culture are proposed.
