China and South Korea both belong to Chinese culture character circl e of Asian. Their culture are similar in many aspect, while they have ow n national feature. Festival culture is the quintessence for the national cult ure which can reflect people’s life and culture of the countries. Therefor, it has a important significance that having a good understanding in the re lationship between China and South Korea for teaching Chinese to South Korea. This thesis mainly researched the culture of the Spring Festival be tween China and South Korea. In this paper, firstly, it stated the details o f the origin, folk-custom, food and entertainment during the period of the Spring Festival. Secondly, it analyzed the similarities and differences of t he celebration in two countries in many aspects, including the origin, time, way, atmosphere, significance of the Spring Festival. Finally, it put forw ard five strategies in teaching Chinese to South Koreans basing on the ac hievement of the analysis above. According to the study, it can be found that although the celebration in China and South Korea is alike, there ar e a number of small differences in many ways. In the process of teachin g Chinese as a foreign language to South Koreans, only realizing the diff erence of the Spring Festival in two countries, can we guide the Korean students out of the culture barriers and arouse the passion and interest of students in learning Chinese. At the same time, it hopes that Korea stud ents can have a deep understanding of Chinese culture and adapt to the e nvironment of China. |
