A Study Of Wang Shizhen 's Critical Theory Of Prose

As Wang shizhen is the champion of mid and late Ming dynasty retro movement, and also because of his literary creation and literary theory achievements, so he is always the key point of the ancient literature learner study. This paper mainly studies the prose criticism theory of wang shizhen. His prose criticism theory can be mostly reflected in the Yi yuan zhi yan,Wen ping and Wen zhang jiu ming. For now, most research regarding wang shizhen all focus on his poem criticism theory and the criticism on prose still need to be collected and dinged out. In the first part, analyzing the factors affecting the formation of the literary thought of wang shizhen, from the Ming dynasty social environment as well as various schools(qin and han dynasties, tang and song dynasty and yangming philosophy) is discussed.
