The moon is extremely high frequency and contains a wealth of imagery in Chinese poetry appears, as a objective object,the moon by the special favor of the Chinese nation, the special feelings for the month from Chinese people have make the moon became literary typical imagery and eternal theme. Tang and Song poetry involving the month is the most excellent, but the image is the generation of development after a long period of exploration, practice and culture, the Tang and Song poetry involving the month is implication rich, the month is based on culture before tang dynasty.Therefore, this paper attempt to have a general statistical to analyze the month images before the Tang Dynasty poem with time-line from the number of different times, the characteristic of expression, the emotional connotationand and the reasons. This article relates to the so-called poetry month is the poem contains write the month verses of poetry, these poems is chant or slightly professionals involved, but whether it is specifically written months, or a little involved, it can reflect the month perceived characteristics of whole people in every age.This article while explore the development characteristics of month immage in poetry from the pre-Qin period, Hanweijin, the Northern and Southern Dynasties and Sui Dynasties, the article is divided into four chapters, the first three chapters analyze the poetry month features One by one from pre-Qin period, Hanweijin, the Northern and Southern Dynasties and Sui Dynasties,The last chapter summarize and tease the characteristics of poetry month. The first chapter is the poetry with the image of the moon in the pre-Qin poetry, It contains " The Book of Songs ", The Songs of Chu and other poetry with the image of the moon, The main features in this period is the moon and sun also appear in the poem, or side by side, or on the move, this is the worship of the sun and moon; In the poetry with the image of the moon but without sun,the moon is natural and practical and powerful few; although, there are a few poetry involving months has begun show the aesthetic nature, such as "moonrise" and "Nine debate ".The second chapter is involved from the Han Dynasty poetry of month, Wei Dynasty poetry of month, the Jin Dynasty poetry of month. Dividing their time in this way is based on Lu Qin Li’s" pre-qin to southern and northern dynasties’s Poetry".this period is a time of development of the breed of the poetry involving month, The emotional implication and display form of poetry involving have a trend of diversified development. The third chapter is divided into Southern poetry involving month and Northern poetry involving month and Sui dynastic poetry involving month, There is no doubt that the Southern dynastic poetry involving month is the uppermost. The poetry involving month in this period to move forward a single step, either in quantity or in quality are significantly higher than the previous generation development, the display forms were more colorful of poetry involving month, emotional implication were more diverse.The moon almost break away from the sun and became the new stunner of Poets. And there were many poetry of praise of month in this period. In a word, it have a very important role for the Tang and song dynastic poetry involving month. The fourth chapter is a summary of the characteristics of the first three periods. Mainly elucidate the development venation from three aspects. The first one, the moon were independent from the moon and sun.the second is anesthetization and emotional of moon in the poetry.the third one is rational thinking process for moon. Generally speaking this paper is periodic discovery to the Poetry with the image of the moon in pre-tang dynasty which reflects the administrative levels feeling and the time feeling of the poetry with the image of the moon.
