The thesis is focus on the situational teaching in second language teaching, which has a long history in second language teaching in foreign countries. The teaching method is deeply influenced by the Grammar-translation Method, the Direct Method, Task-based Teaching and the Communicative Language Teaching. It can be for those teachers who are benefit from the application of this teaching method, and their students who are studying Chinese language. It provides a broad space for those teachers who are teaching the foreign languages.About situation, on the one hand, it refers to scenery, scenes and environment, on the other hand, it means characters, plots as well as the feeling and inner world aroused by scenery and scenes. In a word, situation is a specific image which can help students to understand difficult language easily, situational teaching makes full use of the senses and environment, let the students in the class enjoy the class and benefits from it, with full of fun. It also makes the language input and language output closely connected; make the learning process simple and interesting.As a teaching strategy, this paper studies on the application of situational teaching in the language study class, mainly on how to apply situational teaching and make the classroom more efficient, directly.The paper is based on the definition of the situational teaching, examples in class, analysis on the theoretical basis and teaching practice, to take the biggest advantages of the situational teaching. In order to ensure the authenticity of the situation, paper will be on the focus of the prose in the examples of all kinds of scene teaching measures. What is more, the writer’s lesson steps and teaching experience has been included, with the detailed analysis of the program, we mean to show the readers how to teach efficiently.
