There is a kind of special word in Vocabulary system of contemporary Chinese language. It has a changeless combining form——noun+classifier. This kind of word is attracting attention because of its uniqueness. This paper regards the double syllable noun classifier compound as the object of study. In order to acquire a thorough study in great depth, we will use the method of combination of form and meaning, diachronic and synchronic, statistical data, comparative analysis.This paper consists of three chapters, in addition to introduction and conclusion.The first chapter is the standards of definition and the classification of the double syllable noun classifier compound. This chapter will give a clear definition of noun classifier compound firstly. Then, on the basis of research by predecessors, it will define the noun classifier compound and give reasons. This chapter will also search noun classifier compound exhaustive in "sixth edition of modern Chinese Dictionary" and show them.
