Yunnan Tibetan region is mainly refers to the administrative area of the DiqingTibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, it is located in the northwest ofYunnan, border with Sichuan Province and Tibet Tibetan Autonomous Region, it wasthe ancient "To Tibetan road", the geographical location is special and superior. At theend of the Qing Dynasty in Yunnan, the Tibetan society, there exist many ethnicgroups or classes together constitute the Tibetan social system, in which people fromdifferent social interaction.In politics, economy, religion, Tibetan culture and other functions in one of thetemple, it is not only a religious institution, it is also the center of area power, it hasgreat influence on Tibetan cultural circle of the rural society. The temple and theTibetan forces of the parties together, through the political, economic and cultural andother means of social control, and provided the possibility for the Tibetan socialchanges and modernization.In the religious system, the temple effective controlled of the rural society, andprovided religious, political, economic and other services to the rural society. Whileon the one hand the rural society was willing to accept this kind of mating type of aid,and nurturing of temples, such as providing support of religion and economy to thetemple monastery, and charged with the duties that normal operation of the temple,the reciprocal relationship held stable development of Tibetan temples and ruralsociety. On the other hand, rural society under the strong control of the temple,whenever the rural society and monasteries happened conflict and disputes, ruralsociety would be through special channels to express their dissatisfaction, such asprosecuted temple by the local government, or launched armed resistance, but therural society never gave up religion of piety and split of the contact to temple.Reciprocal and symbiotic system of the temple and rural society, the religion and thepeople under the religion "blessing" was closely together, to create the conditions forthe development of Tibetan society.
