The policy of Tibetan Buddhism in the Qing Dynasty implemented the strategy of "prospering the Yellow Religion means peace with all Mongolia".The Qing government’s use of Tibetan Buddhism to rule the Mongolian and Tibetan people is a manifestation of this policy.The Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism has a long history in the Mongolian and Tibetan areas,and the Mongolian and Tibetan people generally believe in the Gelug Sect.A study on the formation of the Gelugpa monastery group in the northern area of the Tibet-Yi Corridor.Taking the Labrang Monastery Group,the Chanding Monastery Group and the Gelugpa Monastery Group in Northwest Sichuan as examples,to explore and understand the Qing Dynasty Tibetan Buddhist policy and the Gelugpa The monastic group formed the relationship presented.The formation of the Labrang Monastery Group benefited from its rigid and flexible management measures.The "Thirteen Articles on the Aftermath of Qinghai" and the "Twelve Issues in Qinghai" are rigid legal systems;the flexible strategy is that the Qing government canonized the past generations of Jiamu,called the eminent monks to serve in Beijing,and awarded plaques.The formation of the temple group of the Zen Ding Temple is closely related to the Qing government’s award to the chieftain and monk.Zhuoni Chanding Temple implements a unified system of administration and education.The chieftain accepts the canonization of the central dynasty.The chieftain and the Zending Temple group support and depend on each other.The prosperity of the Gelugpa monastery group in northwestern Sichuan was closely connected with the battle of Jinchuan during the Qianlong period;the fifth living Buddha of Geldeng merged the Dacang Nammo Retreat with the nearby small monastery to build Dacangna Morgardeng Temple.There are 18 temples under its jurisdiction,and it is the largest Gelug monastery in the Aba area.As a result,the policy of Tibetan Buddhism in the Qing Dynasty and the Gelug monastery group showed a two-way interactive relationship.The Gelug monastery group in the northern part of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor supported the Central Qing Dynasty.The Tibetan Buddhism policy implemented by the Qing dynasty was the foundation of the Gelug Buddhist monastery group in the northern part of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor.The implementation of the Tibetan Buddhism policy in the Qing Dynasty enabled the Qing dynasty to achieve the purpose of being religious and political.
