In 2009, the New Medical Reform began to express their deligt, and as one of important works in the reform, the compensation mechanism reform of public hospitals also was carried out in the country.In 2013, in order to get rid of the compensation system for the medical cost through drug-selling profit, to reform the compensation mechanism as the breakthrough point, Our country implemented the 311 pioneer reform of public hospitals at the county level, The reform of public hospitals at the county level is to start with the reform of compensation mechanism, the abolition of drug addition, improve the government financial compensation and adjust the price of medical services. The study through the comparative analysis and Discussion on the economic operation of the hospital before and after the reform of the compensation mechanism of public hospitals in Shandong Province, and it provides a theoretical and practical basis for the sustainable development of the hospital.The study illustrates the theoretical basis of the compensation mechanism in the reform of public hospitals, combed the compensation mechanism of public hospital related concept and mode. After the reform, the hospital financial subsidy income growth was obvious, but the proportion of total hospital income was still relatively low, drug income proportion is much lower than before. The reform of public hospital compensation mechanism had a significant effect on the economic benefits of public hospitals at county level, but the efficiency of hospital services had not improved significantly. The long-term effects had no significant differences in the reform. It needs a further study.
