A Meta - Analysis Of The Efficacy And Safety Of Shenxian Shengmai Oral Liquid In The Treatment Of Chronic Arrhythmia

Objective: This assay evaluates the clinical efficacy and safety of treating slow arrhythmia,to provide evidence for clinical treatments.Methods: Trough searching CNKI Chinese journal full text database, Wanfang database,Chongqing VIP database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database Collection, we collect RCTs from 2011 to 2016 about Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid(treatment group) compared to other drugs(control group) in the treatment of slow arrhythmia. Two professional personnels evaluated RCTs in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria independently by extracting information to cross check and using Rev man 5.33 statistical software to analysis. Evaluation index: clinical efficacy, average heart rate and adverse reaction, etc.Results: we concluded a total of 16 RCTs, a total of 1078 patients. Compared with the control group,(1) 15 articles included the clinical effect of the Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid with the control group: there was no statistical heterogeneity among the studies(P=0.98,I2=0%), and we analyzed the application of the fixed effect model. The results showed that:[OR combined with =4.55, 95%CI(3.10, 6.68), P < 0.00001],this suggested that the clinical efficacy of Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid group was better than that of the control group.(2) 14 articles compared the average heart rate of the Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid and the control group. There was heterogeneity(P < 0.00001, I2= 93%), by using a random effects model analysis. The results showed [MD= 5.81, 95% CI(3.72, 7.90), P < 0.00001].It means the Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid could increase the average heart rate better than the control group;(3) 9 literatures compared adverse events of the Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid and the control group. There was heterogeneity(P = 0.0005, I2= 71%) by using Random effects model analysis. Results: [OR = 0.20, 95%CI(0.06, 0.67), P=0.09], the incidence of adverse events of the Xian Sheng Mai group was less than that of the control group.Conclusion: The data shows that the clinical efficacy and increase of average heart rate of Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid are better than other drugs. The adverse effacts of Shen Xian Sheng Mai oral liquid group is less than that of the control group. However, limited to the limitations of the research literature, it is still need to be confirmed by more high-quality randomized controlled trials.
