Study On Compatibility Of Professor Jiang Shumin 's Treatment Of Chronic Erosive Gastritis By Cluster Analysis

Objective: To delve into syndrome differentiation and treatment of Professor Jiang Shumin about treating chronic erosive gastritis through cluster analysis statistical method, which provides a new method to study other famous doctors’ clinical experience on some diseases. Clinical data and research methods: The clinical data of the study comes from the first prescription of Professor Jiang Shumin on treating 63 cases of chronic erosive gastritis patients from March 2014 to March 2016 at expert clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine. 1.The database is made up of names of 63 patient and names of medicine they are taking through Excel 2013. 2. High-frequency drugs are defined as the following: use frequency more than 8 times; frequency of use accounting for nearly 85% of the total frequency. Then the high-frequency drugs would be divided into some groups by effect based on the 7th teaching material of science of Chinese materia medica. And most commonly used drugs of Professor Jiang Shumin would been selected through frequency analysis in each group. 3.The high-frequency drugs have been analyzed through R clustering analysis between group connection method and Pearson correlation of IBM SPSS Statistics l6.0, which could lead to a dendrogram. The clinical experience of Professor Jiang Shumin to treat chronic erosive gastritis would been summarized based on the dendrogram and clinical practice. Results: 1. By analyzing the frequency of 26 kinds of high-frequency drugs, to get the Chinese medicine efficacy sort which were the most frequently used on Professor Jiang Shumin treating chronic erosive gastritis. The sort is made up of 13 classifications of herbs which are heat-clearing drug, diuretics for eliminating dampness, tonic drug, damp dispersing herbs, anastaltic herbs, drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for regulating QI flow, drugs for calming liver to stop endogenous wind, medicine for dissipating phlegm and relieving cough and asthma, antirheumatic herbs, digestants, drugs for relieving exterior syndrome, and medicinal astringent. 2. The high-frequency drugs are divided into five groups based on dendrogram from cluster analysis. The first is consisted of Radix Astragali, Bletilla hyacinthina Reichb, Poria cocos, semen coicis, corydalis tuber, Chinaberry fruit. The second oysters, dandelion, forsythia, sophora flavescens, tarragon. The third Fritillaria thunbergii Miq, radix ampelopsis, dung of silkworms, amomun kravanh, fructus amomi. The forth wrinkled giant hyssop. The fifth ventriculi galli mucosa, medicated leaven, the stem of noble dendrobium, rhizoma anemarrhenae, rhizoma dioscoreae, semen nelumbinis, perilla nankinensis, semen sojae praeparatum, the bark of ash. 3. It is achieved that syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic erosive gastritis of Professor Jiang Shumin through cluster analysis statistical method. Conclusion: 1. The characteristic of treating chronic erosive gastritis from Professor Jiang Shumin is in view of carbuncle which comprises Stasis, Heat and Toxin(SHT). The stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen could lead to the Stasis which would produce Heat unless treated, which is the root of Toxin. SHT is harmful for gastric mucosa so that the gastric mucosa is corroded and bleeding. 2. The syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic erosive gastritis of Professor Jiang Shumin is analyzed objectively through using cluster analysis statistical method, which offers a new train of thought for seeking the compatibility law of clinical experience summary of traditional Chinese medicine.
