Paper note is considered as name card of a country. Because our country's population is legion, the amount of paper notes in use is large and the damage of paper note is serious. The national finance industry put forward that RMB paper note in use must be better than 70 percent-new And the Standard of Sorting RMB paper note was enacted. At present, paper note is still sorted manually in many banks of China, so low efficiency and low consistency are resulted. The imported sorting machines have not been widely used because of their adaptability and price. So the finance industry needs our own sorting machine suitable for RMB urgently. Aiming at this problem, according to the technology development in paper note storing, this dissertation brings out an intelligent paper note sorting design based on the CIS image sensor, USB2.0 interface and image identification technique.This dissertation tries to find a high-speed intelligent paper note sorting method applying the current image processing technique. The difficulties are sampling the image of paper note in high-speed, transmitting the data and identifying the image. The dissertation's emphasis is to solve the problem of sampling and transmitting of the paper note image. The dissertation is composed of five chapters. The research background and relevant technology development are introduced in the first chapter. The whole design of the sampling system and the analysis of hardware are given in the second chapter. The third chapter is the explanation of whole design. The USB techniques and the hardware resource of chip CY7C68013 are introduced in the chapter. The fourth chapter is the emphasis. Based on the second and the third chapter, the timing diagram of components and the operating modes of the slave FIFOs and GPIF interface of CY7C68013 are analyzed. Asynchronous image sampling and transmitting project is put forward. The MCU 8051 is used as controller unitand GPIF is used as high-speed image transmitting interface. The fifth chapter is another emphasis. Based on the hardware resource of CY7C68013 described in the fourth chapter, the CY7C68013 firmware programming process is given. And the special drivers of image sampling system are programmed using the tool of Windows2000 DDK.
