Analysis And Design Of The System For The Production And Carry Of Air-catering Based On UML

The production and carry of air-catering is a new domestic industry, there are only few established management systems up to date. The traditional management model and methods adopted in the majority of air-catering production enterprises can't meet the need of information management. Thus it is needed to redesign a full-functioned air-catering management system which could meet the need of timely and accurate production.Some of the domestic air-catering enterprises have already put effort to design the system to meet the need of the production and carry of air-catering, but the results are not so satisfactory. The studies are still on the surface. Domestic academic study has many results about design theory of the business management information systems, but few essays and works on air-catering management system can be found available.In this paper we first analyze and reconstruct the whole process of the production and carry of air-catering by using UML, then we design and describe the functions of the system. By introducing the concept of Just-in-Time(JIT), the process of the production are redesigned and improved. We also give the data model in the paper. Finally the detailed functions, the integrated structure and data structure of the system have been further discussed and analyzed, which provides practical information system for production management integrated with advanced management concept, reasonable integrity structure, balanced performance.A practical air-catering enterprise had been managed and monitored efficiently by using air-catering management system discussed in this paper. The results show that the system can accurate control the production process by using the system. The product design, production process, cost, stock and quality of the air-catering enterprise had been improved efficiently. The comprehensive competition ability of the air-catering enterprise is enhanced.
