Technology Research And Product Development Of PROFIBUS-PA Fieldbus (The Design Of Analogue I/O Model)

With the emerging field bus technology that is in line with the requirements at the time when the industrial control networking and information are in great demand, it is very fair to predict that this technology shows itself a very promising prospect for future development. Being the most widely applied and enjoying the most rapid growth, PROFIBUS is a standard for field bus technology. This paper described PROFIBUS-PA used in the process industry in terms of its key technology such as the IEC61158-2 technology, the unique features of Communication and its device profile based upon which, the development of PROFIBUS -PA devices and the realization of an analogue I/O model with PROFIBUS-PA interface were made possible. With the new solution, the field bus interface consisting of both PROFIBUS ASIC DPC31 and the MAU SIMI was adopted.
