Research On Notification Services And Collaboration Mechanism In Grid Platform

The application of Grid Computing is a hotspot in research areas presently. With the improvement of the application systems and technologies about the grid architecture, people use the grid technologies in much broader fields. The notification services which are used in the distributed application systems can decrease the coupling degree between the components in the application systems, and improve the reliability and scaleablity. Web Services Notification is builds in the grid environment. It is a new technology using Web Services in the grid notification services as well as the latest grid architecuture, WSRF, Web Services Resource Framework. The main point of our work tries to absorb the advantages of Web Services technologies, and combine the grid services with the Web Services, as WSRF. The Web Services are usually stateless. We use the stateless Web Services to manipulate the stateful data source, which is also the main point in the WSRF specifications. The object of my task is to research and extend the way to improve WSN, try to build new models, and design the prototype of the notification services system according to the real requirements. This paper firstly analyzes the limitations of today's WSN implementation technologies. Then it designs some new patterns of message services in WSRF systems, which include the notification, subscribe and response models. It also analyzes the definition of servies and message resources, the dynamic service flows and the parameters. This paper designs and implements the message services part for the prototype system, the Resource Environment Information System, REIS. It introduces the methods of implementation the message services in the real system and gives the architecture of the system. In the end, we show how to use the notification services in the real project and the value of the notification services technologies.
