Organic Light-Emitting Device (OLED) as one of the new flat panel Display technique, have already obtained the deep concern of science field and the industry field. It has the characteristic of high brightness, high contrast, breadth angle of view, the easy color turn, giving out light high efficiently, high dependability, high speed of response etc. So it drives flat panel display field with the great and earnest hope. A lot of company being well known in the world, such as the Samsung, Kodak, the Pioneer Company, Philips etc, all carry on OLED technical research and development. Although the OLED technique already has obtained the substantial development in light-emitting material and production craft, the driving technique...etc, it still be placed in the start stage of industrialization. Our country has been lack of the core technique in the realm of display, the emergence of OLED provided a good opportunity for the competition that our country participates to in display technique domain. Much work of this paper has been done in AM-OLED technology, mainly focus on AM-OLED pixel driving circuit structure design and parameters assurance, integrated peripheral driving circuit design and applying, display screen protection circuit design and parameters assurance, the analysis of OLED display power dissipation. Simulation work on this design uses Star-Hspice. The main work and content are sum up as follows: In chapter 1,it shows the development condition and the present condition of study in the flat panel display technique and OLED technique, points out that OLED technique to our country who want to develop this technique, has the important meaning. Depicts detailedly OLED light-emitting principle and structures. Enumerates the various driving technique of OLED, gives the advantage of AM-OLED by comparing PM-OLED and AM-OLED driving method. In chapter 2, we introduce Level62 RPI Poli-si model and its characteristic of thin-film transistor which is main component of driving circuit. All is primary for following chapters. Research work has been focused on TFT's gate voltage and kink effect. In chapter 3, we mainly elaborated two different kinds of driving circuits of pixel: The work principle of current signal pixel driving circuit and voltage signal pixel driving circuit. Ensure the circuit parameter precisely according to the model of OLED that is used. This not only have the very important meaning to the normal work of the circuit, but also is very important to raise the opening rate of the circuit, lower the circuit power dissipation. Make use of the software of Star-Hspice to simulate the function of circuit that use designed circuit parameters. By simulation, parameters of components and circuit structure, functions that are designed all satisfy the request. We also Compare two kinds of pixels driving methods and give the reason of choosing the current signal pixel driving circuit. In chapter 4, we mainly design the peripheral driving circuit that has the QVGA resolution. Row and line electrode driving circuit, including shifter register, data register, Block circuits have been designed using TFT and much simulation work has been done also. We also have presented a pixel circuit being used in QVGA resolution last. In chapter 5, we have analyzed the reason and the mode of ESD, and analyzed the characteristic of the TFT being breakdown that the pixel driving circuit uses. Designed the power supply-ground ESD protection circuit of the display driving circuit; ESD protection circuit at Input node. Carried on related simulation, by simulation we can be good to avoid the ESD attaining protection to display array. In chapter 6, we analysis and compute the power dissipation of the pixel driving circuit, the peripheral driving circuit, the protection circuit.
