| As one of the advanced and active productivities, information technology hasbecome the basis of social economy. Management information system (MIS) is animportant platform for enterprise to implement informational construction, so it mustprovide the ability to adapt to the dynamic exchanges.To improve the flexibility of MIS, on the base of the new software technologies, itpropose the Configurable Process and Configurable Form based MIS(CPCFM), whichis advanced in loose-couple, flexibility, high integration, etc.Firstly, the paper introduces the basic technologies in this project. As the mostadvanced technology in process management, workflow is used in the design of flowdefinition tool and flow control engine; XML technology gives convenient andnormative data format to the form definition and process definition; WebService assiststhe design of application.Secondly, according to the situation of enterprise, it analyses the framework of thesystem in flexible MIS with taking theories of object-oriented and process-oriented.There are three modules which include flow definition tool, form definition tool,integrated runtime platform. And runtime platform is divided into three layers: data-layer, business-layer and representation-layer.Then on the base of framework, it researches and designs the visual processdefinition tool, which uses the directed diagram theory as modeling method and makesthe XPDL based on XML as the model definition language. This tool can depict theoperation process of enterprise as model in computer, which is used by flow controlengine.Finally, the paper studies and designs the core of flexible MIS----flow controlengine. It bases on the workflow theory, and can manipulate the process running byparsing the process definition. In this paper, it analyses the control entities in the engineand the way of data organization, it talks over the framework of engine, introduces themode of scheduling and route controlling, classes and methods in software design.
