Analysis And Study On Campus OA System Based On J2EE And Workflow Technology

With the rapid development of campus networks, the development and application of the Campus Office Automation System becomes the main stream of school development as well as the main strategy in improving office efficiency in high education institutes. The length of life cycle of the newly developed OA system, the efficiency of utilization ect. closely related to the design of OA system model. Therefore, programming suitable new OA system model with the combination of existing technique and new OA system becomes the main subject of this study.This paper makes a detailed study and analysis on the existing OA system, and compares the technique used in the main OA system and it' s running platform, explicates the importance of workflow in OA system; Moreover, it studies also on the presently popular JAVA technology based on J2EE. Finally, combining the construction need of digital campus networks, with the application of J2EE technical specification and workflow to analyse and plan the modelling of new campus OA system, this paper puts forward a new functional model of OS system, and designs this new OA system according to the request.Currently the model structure of OA system mainly bases on the two layerstructures of the C/S (client/server) and two layer structures of the B/S (browser/server). The mode of C/S lies in two layer structures of database and client, parts of products adopted the technique of workflow. B/S mode system centres on server, the procedure processing and data saving all complete in the server, the customer doesn't need to install the specialized client software, only uses network to connect computer and server, dealing with everything with browser itself. B/S system meets all the needs of network office and mobile office, with the advantages of easily update and maintenance, low difficulty in client using, powerful transplantation act. Meanwhile, it is restrained by low flexibility and simple application model. The present application platform of the B/S mode system mainly includes Windows Server, Lotus Notes, Linux etc. but no technology now can satisfy a real office automation, so the subject of this project is on how to combine B/S model with J2EE and workflow to set up a new OA system.In order to set up the new OA system completely, this paper studies and analyses the key technology of OA system, including J2EE, JAVA, XML, workflows, module technique etc. With these technology, a new, coordinated, multilayers, knowledge-supported campus office automation is set up, and aiming at the function request of OA system, it designs the technique strategy. This paper studies also on the security design of the system. The system discusses the security strategy in the aspects of safe design of database, user limits management, the data backup of the database and encode etc.
