The NO. 7 signaling system is one of the three major support systems for the telecommunication network, it' s the important component of the telecommunication network, and the necessary element to develop integrated business, intelligent network business and other new businesses. It has become the true neural and support network for the telecommunication network. The NO. 7 signaling system is used to transfer all kinds of control instructions of the telecommunication network, and its significance has been recognized by people gradually. Whether it works well directly determines the quality of the whole communication network. Any operation in the telecommunication network will be implemented by the NO. 7 signaling system. Therefore, NO.7 signaling monitoring system, as the tool to oversee and manage NO. 7 signaling system, becomes remarkably significant. We can maintain the whole telecommunication network by monitoring NO. 7 signaling system.According to the NO.7 signaling system' s requirement, there should be a participating load in traffic between the signaling points and the signal transferring points. That is the backward and forward messages of a call must be transferred through paired STP links respectively. This makes it difficult to test by instruments. NO. 7 signaling monitoring system solves the problem by centrally analyzing and processing signaling data collected from different locations and transformed appropriately. The monitoring system can achieve signal testing of the whole network,and becomes an important tool used to maintain NO. 7 signaling system.First of all, the dissertation introduces the development in the domestic research of NO. 7 signaling monitoring system and abroad. Bring forward the principle of integrating CDR by the means of mutually triggering. This means of triggering can decrease network jam dramatically, and do not lose any call, also has high level real time quality.Secondly, the dissertation proposes the design idea of NO. 7 signaling monitoring system, and describes the software and hardware functions of the signaling collection processing layer, the business processing layer, and the application layer in details.Thirdly, the dissertation completes the design of the module of forming TUP call' s CDR, which builds the detailed call records of TUP call by analyzing TUP original signals basing on the key values of OPC, DPC, and CIC. The primitive data are stored in data points, implementing the functions of call tracing and filtering dual seizing and replicated message.At last, the dissertation introduces the practical application of NO. 7 signaling monitoring system, including two parts: real-time application and business analyzing application. Real-time application part mainly produces real-time data on key performance indicators; business analyzing application part is responsible for detailed analysis and query of key performance indicators relevant to businesses.
