DRM System Research Design And Implementation

With the development of Internet, illegal distribution of copyrighted digital object became rapid and easy, the benefits of the rights holders have been infringed. DRM technology was developed and is being developed as a protection against the illegal distribution of copyrighted online material. It controls the customers'software which has not been authorized and it can prevent people to download mp3 from Internet. By the system of DRM, the contents of all kinds of software, files, music, pictures and videos will be tightly controlled. The users can not copy illegally. A typical DRM system usually has four software components: content protection software, content distribution server, license server and content viewer/plug-in.In the system of DRM, I have developed and completed the client of Specified Files Management System. It achieves two functions: It can be used to receive the files from server and save them in local. Further more, it can be used to help the users identifying and opening the specified files, meanwhile effectively controls and records the using logs, and sends the logs to server. This part of work contains FileListener and FileReader. In my work I use three kinds of encrypt technique: symmetrical encrypt technique, unsymmetrical encrypt technique and hash arithmetic.
