On the hardware, Two layers of client /server configuration was adopted, the server in the watch room is linked to the pumps and the oilcans through a hub, responsible for the data collection of oil-records and the parameters of the oilcans, responsible for the maintenance of the database. And also it may manage the oil's stocking, selling and storing daily. Clients in the station master room are linked to server through LAN, and responsible for the disposal and printout of all reports. The software is made up of two part: data collection and administrators, the first part answers for thecollection of each record of dispensing oil, and the second is for the further disposals of the records, which leads to various kinds of manage modules such as classifying the records, taking over the shift, disposing by a day, disposing by a month.
