Along with the further development of the economic reform of China as well as the establishment and amelioration of the socialism market economy system, the operation environment of the enterprise has changed radically. In order to improve the competition ability and promote the economic benefit, Chong Qing Automobile Axletree Factory (CQAAF) is managing to upgrade and modernize the enterprise management with information technology. In the meanwhile, the total quality control will be further intensified, and the product quality will be improved. This project, which is one of the sub-systems of the Management Information System of Chong Qing Automobile Axletree Factory, focuses on CQAAF's requirement. The purpose and task of the project is engaged on the system analysis and system design of the Quality Control Information System for CQAAF. This article is the research result of the project.The thesis discusses the importance and feasibility of the development of the quality control science from the total quality control to quality control information system, and brings forward that the quality control information system is the development of the quality control science and the structure of the new subject which combines the total quality control and information science.After investigating and analyzing the present quality control system of CQAAF, this thesis particularly analyzes its quality control operation flow, puts forth the recomposed scheme of the quality control operation flow aiming at CQAAF's actual situation and combining the domestic and oversea research achievement in the field of quality control, and exploits new way for rebuilding CQAAF's new total quality control.The thesis analyzes CQAAF's quality control data in detail, plots the data flow chart of the quality control information flow, builds the data dictionary of the quality control, and meantime designs the TQC database. Furthermore, this thesis establishes a firm base for the use of the CQAAF's information resource management. Based on this point, the project designs a practicable, high efficient, meticulously divided in function, flexible, and extensible scheme, namely Chong Qing Automobile Axletree Factory Quality Control Information System.The project researches on the combination of the quality statistic method and computer technology, designs the quality control method of working procedure, and especially discusses the emulation of the probability distributing of the sample.During the process of system analysis and design, this project all along insists on the system engineering thoughtway as the guide and the development principle in which the development is from top to bottom and is perfected step by step. The thought of the modularization structure design resolved layer by layer is utilized to set up the system function. The project adopts the structure of CLIENT/SERVER, chooses SQL Server2000 as the database management system and Visual Basic 6.0 as the foreground development tool, and employs the object-oriented programming method. Some main modules of the foreground processing system and background management system have been finished.This project has designed the data code of the TQCMISR, input and output windows as well as parts of the programming code, and created themajor module prototypes for realizing the comprehensive development and implementation of the system.By using computers, this system can input, query and process the quality data to realize the quality information system. Furthermore, via the calculation of the capability of the working procedure quality, quality control chart, quality statistic analysis, the system can also fully track the quality during the whole process for the currently making products, and analyze and control the capability of the working procedure quality. This system is capable of early, late and real-time quality control.The thesis employs the engineering technology method to analyze and design the system. Besides, forms and graphs are adopted as more as possible to express questions so that the enterprise management personnel and statistics analysis personnel can exchange ideas conveniently.
