| With development of mobile communication technology, mobile users and communication increment service are increasing, this make wireless services increase so that bandwidth of wireless wave is unfit for development of communication. On the other hand, much serious Co-Channel Interruption and the Multiple Address Interruption effect utilize rate of wireless wave's bandwidth. And the wireless transport environment is complicated and uncertain, so the transported signals are declined and wear down. All this has strong bad effect on the capacity and performance of wireless communication system. In order to settle down this kinds of questions and be fit for the development of communication, so smart antenna arise. The smart antenna technology is an effective solution to take good use of the frequency sources and to promote the capacity and the service quality of the communication system.In 1998, TD-SCDMA as one kind of 3G standard, it is put forward by CATT of China and be regarded as one of three world mobile communication standard. In TD-SCDMA standard, smart antenna as a key technology can improve performance of communication system. From 1990, so the application research of the Smart Antenna technology has applied in mobile communication. With the mature of 3G communication technology, the date of commercial application will be not far.All of the research work of this paper is based on the MATLAB software environment. First, in this paper, we make an introduction on the appearance background of the Smart Antenna technology and its relative theory and concept. After that, we do some research work on the estimation arithmetic of the signal DOA (Direction Of Arrival) using Smart Antenna Array. The work of this paper is to research the performance of variance linear array and 2-D(two-dimensional) grid array. In this paper, author bring forward the ways of sub-uniform linear array(ULA) to realize the DOA estimation of 2-D grid array, and the arithmetic use MUSIC(Multiple Signal Classification) arithmetic and cyclic-MUSIC arithmetic and compare superiority of two arithmetics. At same time, analyzed the performance of DOA estimation of variance linear array and 2-D(two-dimensional) grid array. At end, we can draw a conclusion that the ability to distinguish DOA of 2-D grid array is superior to another antenna arrays. |
