| The establishment of Soviet regime had influenced and changed liberation courses in many other countries in the world. Bolshevik led by Lenin had created socialism journalistic system as well. This system followed the guidelines set by Marx and Lenin and carried out at base of revolution press founded before October Revolution.Within schemed system, the Soviet media paid too more attention on propagandizing to become an idelogical tool. With Stalin in power, the journalistic system began to bear the characteristics of rigjdify and centralization. Pro and after World War â…¡, conservative mind played a dominant role and thus reflected its influence on the news media as well. All that called for a reform.With Khrushchev's reform , there's unfrozen tendency in the surface. Only when Gorbachev assumed the reins had the profound reform began. With the guideline of open, the news circle became so active that lost their control on public opinions. Acturally, we could assert that news medium played a very important role in the process of disaggregation of Soviet Union.When Russia replaced Soviet Union, the country took a road to privatization. The presidents tried to modify the journalism course with their power.In general, this thesis could be divided into four parts. Agenda-setting incommunication theory give a clear orientation of the role Soviet news media played in Gorbachev's reform. Lippmann's mimesis-enviornment theory took a perspective view on the abnormal development of Soviet mass media. With social-conflict theory and the security-valve system statement in the sociology sphere, it is possible for us to understand the relation between the news media and the national social structure. The lack of positive function of social conflict kept the whole country in imbalance state. In such a suppressing regime, it is hard for the media to modulate the social contradiction and let go the social press. The news circle might work as a cushion if they got the chance out of the frozen soil.
