The petrochemical industry is one of the important pillar industries of our country, concern a lot of respects, such as national economy energy, material, etc., it is one of the dangerous and extremely high trades too. Science and technology and economic development make the course of petrochemical industry maximize, complicate day by day. If some small troubles can't be got rid of in time, may cause the enormous disaster in production. So the security and dependability of the production system seem extremely important. There are some kinds of methods in improving systematic security and dependability, one of important method among them is the fault diagnosis technology.The research of fault diagnosis technology in petrochemical industry is a hot question. Because the petrochemical industry is very dangerous, and that fault diagnosed technical research is the system in the non- normal operating mode, even the running situation under the accident state, so it was not allowed that the fault diagnosis test on the real procedure device. For study the fault diagnose technology and method in petrochemical industry procedure, developing a simulation trial platform used for fault diagnosis is crucial.In this subject, according to the need of fault diagnosis study in the petrochemical industry procedure, a simulation trial platform used for fault diagnosis is developed, which is based on simulation technology and SDG technology.
