The Hip joint disease bring huge pain and inconvenience to the patient. The information collection of cubic structure of Hip joint will make for correct diagnosis. So it is important and meaningful to clinic diagnosis and treatment.Original data are multilayer CT images .Firstly, preprocessing research of CT image each stratum are executed. The effective method are choosed on the basis of vast experiment.CT images are Binarized, segmented ,edge extracted .AT last ,the information of edge in each stratum is acquired.After pretreatment, three-dimensional data are formed by data of each stratum. On the basis of research of Hip joint cubic structure,two methods are proposed to filter the invalid data. Two methods work well on the experimentation. According to the Hip joint characteristic, two surface models are adopted to describe the Hip joint. Parameters of each model are obtained successfully.This paper present a research of cubic structure of Hip joint by CT images. In total, it is a attempt in research of Hip joint by CT Volume dataset.According to the result , a conclusion is obtained that Hipbone and Acetabulum are homocentric.
