It is a need which meets modernized cable TV network management to set up the administrative system of cable TV based on GIS, it is a need which meets the social development too. Characteristic that the cable TV network has geography to disperse , the equipment upgrades the demand complicatedly and in real time. This text regards " administrative system of cable TV based on GIS " of Tai'an as the project background , application principle of introducing GIS in the administrative system of cable TV and using the method , analyse and study reasonable systematic institutional framework, and development in database make key research, utilize Maplnfo software to carry on the secondary development finally, set up intact systematic interface. The system has graphical display , figure operating , information inquiry , statistical report form and printing and outputting the function, this text has expounded the fact that realizes changing the concrete procedure of the system and implementation method .
