IFS-Based Simulation Of The Trees

The modeling of plant is a kind of emulational technique to the growing process and the conformation of plants with computer graphics. Based on the discussing the basic method of the conformation of plant simulated by computer, the author discussed how to get the IFS code of natural scenes in detail. At last a kind of simple way was formed. It is the way of triangle. In this paper the principle, specialties and the realization process of this way will be introduced by representative example.This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter introduces the present developments of modeling of plant. The second chapter and the third chapter discuss the theory of fractal and iterated function system on details. Especially the method of tree 's modeling based on iterated function system is discussed. The fourth chapter introduces the realizing process to draw leaf by iterated function system. The last chapter draws a conclusion of this thesis and plans the future researching works.
