Application of Digital Signal Processor have developped from communication field to industrial control field. Data collection is the core of digital signal processing . The character of high precision informatization and intelligentization has become the development trend of modern data collection.The intelligentizedinstrument -LVDT sensor monitor study and design based on DSP, theissue discussed, researched the problems we encounter-using thenew generational DSP to develop intelligentized data collection and process system.The issue used the DSP of TI TMS320LF2407A, designed LVDT sensor monitor based on DSP, and designed the interface circuits between DSP and the instrument' s in-out channels, memory, nixietube, keyboard, and PC communication. Used the lab departments totally test the hardware circuit.DSP is the control center of the design. The programmability of DSP makes the system have expandability. After hardware designded, software method is used to carry out programmability, free maintenance and multifunction of the monitor, which makes it, present the characters of high precision and intelligentization. DSP' s own AD converter support muti-sample to the same channel and this can achieve higher precision than traditional method. DSP software is drawn up and debugged under code composer studio 2000.The design uses RS232 as communication interface between DSP and PC. RS232 has characters of supporting outburst transport and hot plug-in and pullout. The design programmed configuration and communication software for the intelligent instrument by Visual Basic6.0. The debugging of instrument, all deployment of measure parameters and performance test of the instrument can all be realized by configuration software.
