Machine vision inspection technology has much virtue such as non-contact, on-line and real-time, rapid, suitable precision and strong scene anti-jamming. It could realize the aim to zero-wasted of mechanical product and has suited for the need of modern manufacturing progress and development. Thus, it has showed wide applied foreground. Suiting for the need of large quantities of production and testing, as well as conquering manual-inspection malpractice in random sampling and combining machine vision with image processing technology, this paper adopts basic dimension parameter of some normal parts (eg, bearing, gear, bolt, pin etc. ) as studied object in manufacturing and develops research on machine vision system of oriented dimension inspecting, which makes some beneficial try for the realization of modern inspection means and technology in manufacturing. Each chapter central contents is as follows:The first chapter expounds the research background and significance of machine vision inspecting firstly. Based on the development and applied status of machine vision inspecting in manufacturing, the research aim and central task are introduced.In chapter 2, based on the presentation of basic makeup and work principle for machine vision inspecting, the system hardware makeup (mechanical and control unit, image-collection unit) are analyzed and designed, moreover, CCD dimension measure principle and way are given, and then the system error is analyzed.The third chapter mostly discusses the digital-image processing in machine vision inspecting, especially the image processing technology and algorithm involved in the paper such as image filtering, sharpening, histogram threshold segmentation, edge-detection and so on, which unites the researched example to compare and analyses. Aimed at the edge-detection malpractice of directly sharpened image, re-filtering for sharpening image is put forward to improve image outline result.In chapter 4, based on general principle for software design being introduced, modularized idea and 00D are adopted.
