Middleware Technology And The Application Research In Database System

With the continuous development of computer network technology, the application system of database changes following it. The database models changed from the traditional stand-alone mode, two-tier structure to three-tier distribute computing system. With the development of database technology, the application area expands constantly. Aim to the conventional working flow of the college enrollment, we raised a new mode of the college enrollment on Internet. According to the new mode on internet, we take in-depth study on enrollment and database middleware technology and propose a mixed structured enrollment system on internet.First of all, we analyze the character of internet enrollment and the structure of C/S and B/S, propose a system which adopted the mixed-structure, which is composed of two-tier C/S and three-tier C/S system structure. The mixed-structure is fit for the different working modes of scene manager and WAN college client.Secondly, on the base of mixed-structure we established the model of database middleware and agent groupware and studied the use of middleware in three-tier system. The middleware technology such as database connecting manager, agent groupware and network listener etc. were used to realize the application agent service. The problems about the limit of database maximal connecters and the mass data stream of upload and download were resolved effectively.At last, we realized the system of Hebei Adult College Enrollment on Internet, which is based on the working flow of Hebei Adult College Enrollment, mixed-structure and Oracle database system. This system is now used in the work of Hebei Adult College Enrollment successfully.
